Plot: Part of Your World is one of the best books for Gilmore Girls fans because it has small-town charm and a couple from two different worlds.

But, she is reeling from an abusive relationship, and she fears truly allowing him to be “part of her world.”
My Review: What’s unique about this book is the humor and grace with which the story is told, leaving readers’ hearts warmed. It’s an utterly loveable romantic comedy, reminiscent of late 90s/early 00s movies. There’s also a decent amount of spice.

Review:
I accidentally read this series out of order, beginning with Just for the Summer. Although the books can be read as standalones, I realized while reading Part of Your World that I was definitely missing some nuance and backstory/context. That said, I’m also content I read Just for the Summer first, because if I had begun in order, I wouldn’t contain completed the series, and I can’t imagine not having read Just for the Summer, as it was one of my favorite reads of 2024.

One of my micro joys in my life is when a new Abby Jimenez book is published. I know that every sumer, I can look forward to a new book by one of my favorite authors.
Her books are delighful! It’s the perfect contemporary romance for me: there is romance, there is angst, there is sex, there is usually some type of issue one or both of the main characters possess to overcome and they of course…live happily ever after.
And because of that whenever I am asked for a contemporary relationship recommendation, Abby Jimemez is usually near the top of my list.
Now while you don’t include to read her books in order because each book can be read as a standalone, there are a few interconnecting characters that making reading Abby Jimenez books in order so much fun.
