The Little League team from Hinsdale, Illinois, is one of 10 United States baseball teams in the 2024 Little League Society Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Hinsdale, representing the Great Lakes region, will face West region winner Hawaii at 2 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The Great Lakes region champion from Hinsdale Little League in Illinois is scheduled to play at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 on ESPN against the West Region champion, the Central East Maui Little League from Wailuku, Hawaii.

A Riverside County Little League all-star team with their sights set on the Little League World Series fell just short on Friday evening, losing to Hawaii 2-1.
The game, which featured the Eastvale Little League All-Stars vs. the Central East Maui Little League All-Stars from Wailuku, Hawaii, determined which team earned the final spot in Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Eastvale won its first two games in the West Region Tournament, including an 11-3 victory over Hawaii on Tuesday afternoon in a game which saw 102-degree heat.
They finished 15-2 in four tournaments this summer after qualifying for the West Region Tournament by winning the 10-team Southern California State Tournament. They won their final seven games in the double-elimination tournament after losing their opening game.
Despite tonight's outcome, the Eastvale Little Leaguers already etched their names in Southern California history by being the first team in Riverside County ever to make the regional Little League Baseball tournament.

Aruba Center Little League will be the Representative of the Caribbean Region
Starting Wednesday, August 14, ESPN across the Caribbean will exclusively transmit the 2024 Little League Earth Series live from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The teams will compete in an elimination style tournament that will culminate in the championship game between the U.S. winner and the international winner on Sunday, August 25.
Aruba Center League from Santa Cruz, Aruba will represent the Caribbean after clinching its spot at the tournament following their win against the Dominican Republic at the Caribbean Region Tournament Championship. The team is set to open the Little World Series on Wednesday, August 14 at 1 p.m. ET, live on ESPN.

MAUI COUNTY, Hawai'i (Island News) -- Following a 5-0 win over the Hinsdale Little League of Illinois during the 2024 Minuscule League World Series, fans and family members shared how haughty they were of the Primary Maui Little League Team for advancing in the competition.
"All of those kids have a lot of talent and they just brought their A-game today, for that win," said Jasmine Tavares, mother of star pitcher Evan Tavares. "I think even with the Lahaina fires happening, it means a lot, more to the kids, especially for the Magno family, they have more to fight for and engage for."
Second baseman Kolten Magno missing his home to the Lahaina fire a year ago. When asked if he had a message for his community, he responded, "thank you for supporting Central Maui."
The victory was a full-circle moment for former professional baseball player Kurt Suzuki, who is also from Maui, as he grew up with some of the players' parents.
"That was a cool thing, following (the team). My little boys, they play youth baseball, they've been cheering on, you know, I tell them, 'you gotta cheer for Hawai'i,'" Suzuki said.
Suzuki also commended the kids for how they carried themselves.
"They (the players)
