Method to determine ranking system:

  • A minimum of four (4) scores to count
  • A score is defined as 200 targets shot at any of the registered Compak trials
  • Trials must be shot over both days (Saturday and Sunday). 200 Targets are not allowed to be shot on a solo day
  • The average of the shooters top four (4) scores will determine his trial score
  • A trial score is determined as a percentage of the elevated gun for the day determined over 200 targets
  • A MQS (Minimum Qualifying Score) system is applicable in the selection of a National Team to represent South Africa in the African Championship National Trial. The MQS for the different categories shown below:
    • Men - 92%
    • Seniors - 86%
    • Veterans - 80%
    • Masters - 80%
    • Ladies - 80%
    • Juniors - 88%
