Gender Equality And Recruitment In Academia
/femconsult is offered by CEWS. The /femconsult database contains current qualification profiles of more than 3,000 women researchers and non-binary researchers with doctorates and postdoctoral qualifications. They come from all disciplines and work at universities and non-university research institutions, in industry, and in business. With /femconsult, CEWS offers universities, research institutions, and ministries an effective tool for recruiting women researchers and non-binary researchers for leadership positions and advisory and decision-making bodies. Users of /femconsult benefit from increased visibility of their individual scientific profiles through their entry in the database.
We base our selection of subject areas on the subject classification system of destatis. A leading practice example for a subject-specific entry can be found in the flyer of the German Society for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine.
The entry of a scientific profile in the database is reserved exclusively for women researchers and non-binary researchers. The use of the database by universities and research institutions is only permitted for
About the FEM
The FEM are a central institution of the faculty of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin in the field of biomedical research, when animals are to be used for scientific purposes. The tasks of the FEM include the practical implementation of the legally enshrined animal protection through specialist veterinary company, consultation and monitoring, animal experimental education, further education and teaching, services for the creation of genetically modified animal models and performance of large animal surgery, as well as the operation of the laboratory animal facilities for breeding and experimental husbandry of small and large laboratory animals on the campuses of the Charité.
By centralizing these resources, an efficient infrastructure and cross-campus standards can be ensured, based on which one site has been ISO 9001:2015 certified for years. The aim is to ensure at all times animal welfare-friendly housing, care and provision of laboratory animals for the performance of qualified biomedical investigate at Charité according to internationally recognized standards.
On the respective campuses, there are central experimental sites with specific infrastruc

Winter term 2025-2026
Due to Prof. Weeger's research semester, the lecture will not be offered in the winter semester 2025/26. Nevertheless, there will be a written exam in March 2026, for which students can prepare using the materials provided in the Moodle course (videos, lecture slides, exercises, and supplementary materials). In addition, there will be office hours for summaries, questions and answers well in ad
JOBS FEM
Portal of the HR agency of FEM CULS
http://jobs.pef.czu.cz/
The undertaking to create a portal for the FEM personnel agency was set up in June 2014. The aim of the undertaking was to create a personnel portal within the Complex Career Consultancy System at FEM (abbreviation in Czech - KAPO). The main aim of the plan was to increase the presumption of FEM students to win in the labor market and to increase the competitiveness of students in their integration into the work process. One of the concrete outcomes of the project should be the amplify of the companies’ interest in FEM students, therefore a higher number of job offers for students and graduates. The plan seeks to deepen cooperation between the faculty and the commercial sphere. The expected overall outcome of the project is an increase of prestige of FEM and therefore an increase of students interested to study at the faculty.
Career Centre
JOBS FEM is managed by the Career Centre of FEM CULS in Prague. Career Centre cooperates with all organizations, ie businesses, institutions and interest groups, who are interested in contacting and cooperating with students and graduates of the
