P.C. Cast is an American published author recognizable for writing romance and fantasy novels. She is known for writing the House of Evening series along with her daughter Kristin Cast. P.C. stands for Phyllis Christine. Cast was born on April 30, 1960. She was born in the Midwest and spent her childhood going in between the states of Oklahoma and Illinois. The first book Moon Chosen, originally titled Earth Walker, was released on October 18th, 2016. The fantasy series was purchased in a three-book world rights deal with St. Martin’s Press publisher Sally Richardson. The length of the series has since been expanded, and there is potential for companion novellas to be released in the future as well.
